A bit about me: I’m Chloe, a wife, a mum, a teacher and the creator of Impress’d
I used to work full time as a primary school teacher but decided to only work casually after I had my son. I absolutely love being able to spend so much time with my kids! That, combined with needing to find the perfect gift for my daughter is kind of how Impress’d came about - I love getting creative and making things by hand! So when I wanted a special piece of jewellery for my daughter for her baptism I decided to make it. It was so amazing to make something special that I decided I wanted to do it for others as well.
All the magic at Impress'd happens in our little home in Canberra. I use metal stamps and a hammer to impress each design onto precious metal blanks. I then drill the holes, polish, assemble, polish again, package and deliver!
One of the joys of being a small business is that I’m able to connect with customers. I enjoy creating each piece but I also love hearing the stories behind them! Whether it be a new mum or birthday gift, a special event keepsake or in memory of a loved one, each piece is so meaningful to the owner and I’m so grateful to be able to create it for them.
